Finally a vitamin brand that's actually for US
I've been taking random vitamins from Target for years and never felt any different. My doctor told me I was low in Vitamin D (no surprise, apparently most Black women are) and I decided to try these instead of the regular ones. First of all — they actually taste GOOD. Not that fake sweet vitamin taste. Second — I feel like a whole new person. More energy, sleeping better, my nails are stronger, and I've had multiple people ask me what I'm doing with my skin. I just started month 3 and I'm never going back to regular vitamins. Also love that it's Black-owned and they do scholarships. I feel good buying this. Already got my mom and two sisters on it. We're a BGV family now lol.

OKAY BUT MY NAILS THOUGH???
I'm gonna be honest, I bought this because TikTok told me to and I usually don't fall for that but GIRL. It's been 3 weeks. THREE WEEKS. My nails are growing so fast my nail tech asked what I was doing differently. I've always had soft, bendy nails that broke if I looked at them wrong. Not anymore. They're actually HARD. The collagen I put in my coffee every morning — can't taste it at all. The gummies taste like candy (dangerous because I want to eat the whole bottle lol). Already ordered my second bundle. Only complaint is the collagen container looks half empty when you open it but it actually lasts a long time. Don't let that fool you like it fooled me.

55 years old and my knees don't hurt anymore. I'm not joking.
Listen. I'm 55. I had accepted that my knees hurting every time I walked up stairs was just life now. My daughter kept telling me to try collagen and I kept ignoring her. Finally gave in and got this bundle because it was on sale. Y'all. Within TWO WEEKS my knee pain decreased. I could walk up and down the stairs without holding the railing like I was 80. I thought it was a coincidence so I stopped taking it for a few days — THE PAIN CAME BACK. Started taking it again and it went away. I'm a believer now. I don't even care about the beauty stuff but my skin IS more glowy so that's a bonus. Taking this every single day for the rest of my life. Thank you Black Girl Vitamins!!

Frequently Asked Questions
How long until I actually see results?
Every body is different, but here's what our customers typically report:
- Energy boost: Within 1-2 weeks
- Stronger nails: 2-4 weeks
- Skin glow: 3-4 weeks
- Hair growth/thickness: 6-8 weeks
- Joint relief: 1-3 weeks (for collagen)
Consistency is key. Take your gummies daily and add collagen to your morning coffee or smoothie — your body needs time to absorb and rebuild. Most customers say month 2 is when they really notice the difference.
Does the collagen actually taste like nothing? I don't want to ruin my coffee.
Real talk — it's genuinely tasteless. We know every brand says that, but our reviews back it up. Customers mix it into coffee, tea, smoothies, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, and even plain water with zero flavor change. It dissolves fast in hot liquids (stir for about 10 seconds) and blends easily into cold drinks too. If you've tried other collagens that had a weird aftertaste or chalky texture, this one is different. You won't even know it's there.
Why is this more expensive than drugstore vitamins? Is it worth it?
We get it — there are $10 bottles at Target. But here's what you're actually paying for with this bundle:
- Higher absorption: Gummies and peptides absorb better than cheap tablets that pass right through
- Formulated for Black women: Addresses the specific deficiencies we face (D3, biotin, collagen loss)
- Cleaner ingredients: No artificial colors, high fructose corn syrup, or synthetic fillers
- Three products in one: Buying separately would cost $95+, the bundle saves you 32%
- Black-owned + gives back: Every purchase supports scholarships for Black women in healthcare
Customers who switch from drugstore brands consistently say they finally feel a difference. That's the value — results you can actually see.
I heard Black women don't need Vitamin D because of our melanin. Is that true?
This is actually one of the biggest health misconceptions out there — and it's the opposite of the truth. Melanin blocks the skin's ability to produce Vitamin D from sunlight, which means Black women are more likely to be deficient. Studies show that up to 76% of Black Americans have insufficient Vitamin D levels. Low D3 can cause fatigue, dull skin, mood changes, and even hair thinning. That's exactly why we included D3 in this bundle — it's one of the most overlooked deficiencies in our community.
Are gummies actually effective, or should I be taking pills instead?
Great question — and yes, gummies are effective! Here's why we chose them: gummies have a higher absorption rate than traditional tablets because they start breaking down in your mouth, not just your stomach. Tablets often contain binders and fillers that make them harder to digest (ever seen a vitamin pass through whole? Yeah.). Our gummies are easier on sensitive stomachs, taste good enough that you'll actually remember to take them, and deliver nutrients in a form your body can use. The collagen powder is also highly bioavailable — it dissolves completely and absorbs fast. If you've been taking pills for years and feeling nothing, that's exactly why.
